相浦機械/IHI型デッキクレーン、累計生産8000台達成
相浦機械（長崎県佐世保市）は4日、IHIタイプの船上荷役用デッキクレーンの国内生産台数が累計8000台に達したと発表した。このほど本社工場で完成した8000台目は30トンの吊り上げ能力を持ち、大島造船所（長崎県西海市）が国内船主向けに建造するばら積み船に搭載する。
相浦機械はハッチカバーを主力製品として、チップアンローダー、ガントリークレーン、石炭や砂用ディスチャージャーなど舶用荷役機械の分野を手掛けてきた。
2017年5月にはIHIから舶用機械事業を買収し、製品メニューの一層の充実を図るとともに、IHI製油圧機器を使用したデッキクレーンを製造している。
相浦機械は、前身の辻産業時代を含めると国内最古参メーカーで、同社単独でも5000台を超えるデッキクレーンの生産実績を持つ。今回IHIタイプが8000台を記録し、合計で1万3000台以上になる。
